Dewar GC finished half of my rowhouse basement within my budget and time frame; it looks great and we gained a lot of usable sq ft! Jon and Evan were communicative, thorough, and friendly The built in bookshelf Matt built looks great and the basement looks pretty as a picture 👌 (In progress and after)

John and his team were absolutely amazing! They addressed a water issue related to the duct work in our federal hill home and resolved an issue that many other contractors had unsuccessfully attempted to repair. And, they did it with exactly the sense of urgency any homeowner would love to see. He provided constant updates, pictures of each stage, and was available to answer every single one of my questions. When he was done, that area of the house looked as good as new. Highly recommend!

Jon is very good at explaining things so anyone can understand. He is great at weighing different options and figuring out what works best for the client! As a real estate agent this can be very helpful, especially for first time home buyers.

Matt did an amazing job working on my condo! He worked on various projects that I've been pushing off for a while and knocked them all out. He was on time, clean, and did a great job. Highly recommend and will be using Dewar for all future projects!

I had a leak in my kitchen that required a demo and repair, and Jon was so great! He explained everything to me, very knowledgeable, great communication, and so nice!! I started off this process feeling very overwhelmed, and going with Dewer General Contracting made me feel much better about handling it. Evan and Matt were so efficient with the demo on my kitchen, and my house was left clean and safe! The same team then put my kitchen back together with beautiful upgrades. Jon is so easy to work with! He told me step by step what to do next, put me in contact with great cabinet and counter top companies, and kept me updated as things progressed. I could not be happier with Dewar General! Really nice team - absolutely recommend!

Jon spent about 45 minutes on the phone with me discussing my estimate and giving me all sorts of helpful tips for making diy roof repairs. He went against his own interests to educate me on how to extend the life of my roof myself and put off a potentially expensive repair or replacement. He was super helpful and generous with his time without any promise of work. Very much appreciated!!!

Jon, Matt and Evan from Dewars General Contracting helped us make our basement dreams come true. This was our first time contracting a large project in our house and everything went smoothly. They turned our unfinished basement into a living space with a half bath*, office, bar and cat room. Jon and the team were incredibly helpful and creative throughout the whole process. The cat room (litter box room) has a motion sensor that vents the stinky air outside! We’re so happy with the way everything turned out and will be using this company for any future contracting needs. *wallpaper was my choice, Jon and team had nothing to do with it 🤣

I can't say enough positive things about this company! Jon fit us into their schedule on short notice, and completed the project ahead of schedule. I even added a few more things onto the job, and they were very accommodating and reasonable. The Project Manager, Evan stayed in contact, to ensure we were updated every step of the way! My house has a fresh, new look and we will definitely have Dewar Contracting do all of our future renovations and updates! Take a look at some before and after photos.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Dewar GC! My landlord hired them to remodel my new office space and it looks BEAUTIFUL. They did really top notch work, were super communicative throughout the process, and got most things done sooner than expected. Jon is great to work with and his team— Adrian, Matt, & Juan— did a great job. They also worked nights and weekends to speed things along and get us open quickly. Jon took so much time with me and was very flexible and patient. They definitely are raising the bar for contractors everywhere. Also, my dad is a contractor a few states away and came to visit when the work was starting. He was impressed and trusted Jon and he’s not easily won over so that says a lot. If you’re looking for a team that can do a top notch job in a really professional manner, you’ll find that in Dewar.

Jon and his team did an incredible job on our cornice and roof! We were under a tight deadline and Jon made sure he provided quality work at a fair price. Highly recommend!
